Perfect Morning Start
The struggle of my mornings is real. Yes, I really don’t like getting up and preparing my healthy breakfast. I am lucky to have found a girlfriend who mostly spoils me on my early mornings… But that’s not every day the case. After many hangry (yes, that’s a mixture between hungry and angry ;)) mornings, where I sometimes became a little diva, I needed to find a solution for my 06:30 am morning classes. We figured out that overnight oats are the way to avoid my morning struggles.
overnight oats?
Overnight oats are oats soaked overnight that absorb the liquid you put them in – whatever liquid you like!
First of all, it’s a healthy breakfast and full of proteins. Second of all, you can prepare it in no time, the night before. You only have to cut up some fresh fruits in the morning. That much I can handle! And guess what, nothing keeps me going longer than overnight oats in my busy days as a coach.
This recipe is one of my favourites. You can change it depending on the season of fruits or add a different kind of milk, if you prefere oatmilk/almondmilk or whatever you usually have. Feel free to send me your recipes as inspiration anytime.
